FEBCAST/Fellowship Prairies Family Matters
The members of FEBCAST/Fellowship Prairies share benefits and responsibilities because we truly believe that belonging to this family matters.

Our vision statement ‘Healthy Leaders, leading Healthy Churches into the Harvest’ guides our decisions and activities as a family of churches. It is our prayerful dream that all our churches be healthy, involved, making a significant influence in demonstrating God’s love and communicating His word to the people of our Region. This Family Matters document illustrates the interdependent relationship FEBCAST/Fellowship Prairies has with its member churches and each individual church’s responsibility to each other.

Elders Response to FEBCAST

A Response to Code of Ethics for FEBCAST Pastors, Ministry Team, Leaders and Volunteers (August 2010)

By the Elders, Elk Point Baptist Church

The concept of an ethical code for pastors and Christian workers has merit. We believe in its value and have placed within our Church's Constitution statements in that regard. In the subject document most of the ethical issues such as morality and attention to family are accepted positions within the evangelical community. Those specific issues that relate to the pastor such as calling, study habits, plagiarism, etc. would also be normative in our community of believers. Our critique of the document is three-fold:

1. We are uncertain of its aim and objectives.

2. The target audience appears complicated; and

3. The apparent underlying philosophy is contradictory to Scripture.
